Canatara Beach is officially open for the 2025 Blue Flag season from June 15 to September 3 and it's one of only a few beaches in Canada with this internationally recognized designation. Blue Flag is an international eco-certification awarded to beaches and marinas that meet high standards for water quality, safety, accessibility, and environmental care. Canatara Beach has proudly held Blue Flag status since 2014, a sign of its ongoing commitment to excellence.
